why do we exist?
On November 29th, 2011, Richi was diagnosed with high-risk medulloblastoma, one of the most aggressive childhood brain tumors in existence. He had just turned 6 years old. One year later, Richi finished his treatment after having endured 18 surgeries, radiation and chemotherapy. Richi is now considered a cancer survivor and continues his fight daily while living with a long list of side effects.
In their fight against the disease, Richi's parents, Ricardo and Ketty, discovered an unknown reality and decided that they could not just sit back and do nothing . Thus, the Richi Childhood Cancer Foundation was born in February 2013 with the mission to ensure that all children and adolescents who suffer from cancer have the best prognosis and quality of life.
HOW ARE WE FINANCED?
We have launched a series of initiatives, like Richi Entrepreneurs, that not only allow us to fund but to ensure that 100% of received donations are allocated entirely to fulfilling our mission and to add value to society beyond our cause while building empathy for our mission.
All the proceeds from Richi Entrepreneurs Program will go to support the Richi Foundation’s mission.
