What is Richi Entrepreneurs?

Richi Entrepreneurs is a Boston-based initiative launched by the Richi Foundation, whose mission is to foster and catalyze the development of international entrepreneurship ecosystems, taking Boston's unique case as a role model.

How does Richi Entrepreneurs tackle its mission?

Richi Entrepreneurs runs an immersion program in Boston's advanced innovation ecosystem. You can review the past and upcoming editions of the program here.

Why is Boston the best place for my startup?

Positive impact projects have lots of opportunities in Boston, especially for Life Sciences (Boston is the world's top biotech hub), and CleanTech (the sector is growing extremely fast over the past years) sectors. Please visit Why Boston section for more information.

When will the next Richi Entrepreneurs program take place?

Please review the upcoming edition of the Boston Immersion program here.

Who is eligible to participate in the program?

We look for entrepreneurs with research-based startups in Life Sciences (BioTech, MedTech, Digital Healthcare) or CleanTech sectors. Startups should have a scalable business model and address global challenges. Entrepreneurs must consider themselves as change-leaders, have a competent team, and speak English fluently.

How can I participate in the program?

If you are a startup, you can apply to any of the Calls for Startups we launch each edition (in partnership with different sponsors) to win a participation in the Boston Immersion Program. In each program edition we have different sponsors who award startups in different areas of expertise (within Life Sciences and Cleantech sectors) and geographical regions with a participation in the Boston Immersion Program. We encourage you to check our next program edition page to check the calls now open. Awards usually cover the program for up to 2 team members.

Also, we usually have a few spots available for startups who are willing to cover the cost of participation to the Boston Immersion Program. These startups must first pass an admission process to determine if they qualify for the program. Qualified startups can then enroll to the Boston Immersion Program. For specific program fees and deadlines, please visit our upcoming edition page. Participation Fees cover the program for up to 2 team members. Housing, flight tickets and meals are not included.

Can more than 2 people per startup participate in the program?

Yes! We allow a maximum of 4 entrepreneurs per startup. However, there’s an additional cost that startups should cover ($1,500 for each additional team member joining the program). For example, if you want to participate 3 people, your program fee will be the regular program fee + $1.500 (extra team member).
