Description CCIA

Richi Entrepreneurs, an initiative from the Richi Childhood Cancer Foundation, is launching the first Childhood Cancer Innovation Award to support the best startup or project worldwide focused on childhood cancer. Thanks to the support of the Biotechnology Business Institute (IEB), the winner will be awarded with a participation in the 2018 edition of the Boston Immersion program, from October 15th to November 2nd 2018.

The Boston Immersion program, organized by Richi Entrepreneurs in partnership with ACTION, offers participants a unique opportunity to explore Boston’s world’s best biotech ecosystem, expanding their knowledge, accelerating access to a wealth of resources within the industry, and connecting with a world class network (investors, industry experts and key opinion leaders, research centers, government, hospitals, labs, or accelerators). Startups and projects improve both their probability of success, and the chances to compete for collaborators and funding.

This is an exceptional opportunity not only to explore and connect with Boston’s health ecosystem, but also to get access to Richi Foundation’s childhood cancer network composed of world’s best childhood cancer oncologists and doctors, top-notch industry experts and well-known investors.

The award covers the participation cost of the Boston Immersion program for up to 2 team members of the startup or project, and includes a $2,000 grant for travel and housing expenses.

Apply before May 4th to benefit from a priority evaluation. Final application deadline is May 25th 2018.
